DESCRIPTION OF PORT: The port of Bandýrma is situated on the south side of the Sea of Marmara . It is one of the major outlets for the exports of Marmara Region. The port has modern infrastructure and is protected by two breakwaters, 1000 m. and 500 m. long. The width between the breakwaters is 225 m. The port is also connected with state railway and highway network.
